Mt. Fuji River Rafting Tour


Experience the thrill of rafting down Fuji River’s crystal clear mountain water at the base of World Heritage Mt. Fuji site.

The Fuji River is one of the top 3 fastest rivers in Japan flowing along the foot of Mt. Fuji. The total length of the Fuji River is 120 km and its rapids are graded at level 2 and 3. Ages 9 years old and up can join in the half day tour, and even if participates cannot swim joining the tour is possible. All participants are required to wear a life jacket and helmet and all rafts are guided by a trained expert rafting guides.  Our safety training for our guides is set at the highest level in the nation. Beginners can enjoy our rafting tours safely and without worry. Each raft will be guided by a certified rafting guide. Your safety is our number one concern. Also during the rafting tour our photographers will take pictures of your adventure and are available free for download after the tour is done.

  • Experience Rafting down Fuji River

  • Change your clothes at Fuji Rafting Cafe/Change Area
  • Leave your valuables and Clothes at Rafting Cafe before the tour starts

Price per Person 
  • ¥18,000/Person + 10% GST Tax (Rafting Season: May 1st~ Oct 1st)

  • Free Rental Locker at Fuji Rafting Cafe

  • *Optional BBQ Lunch after Rafting Tour (+¥3,000/Person - 4 person minimum required for BBQ Lunch) ​
Mt. Fuji River Rafting Tour Itinerary: 
  • 8:00am - Pick-up from Shin-Fuji Station 
  • 9:00am - Check-in and form signing
  • 9:20am - Change Clothes - Get into wetsuits  *Leave valuables and clothes in lockers
  • 9:30am - Move to Fuji River start Point 
  • 9:45am - Safety briefing & equipment check 
  • 10:00am - Start Rafting (6km Course)
  • 12:00Noon - Finish Rafting - Return to Fuji River Cafe
  • *12:30~1:00pm Optional BBQ Lunch 
  • 2:00pm~4:00pm Drop-off at Shin-Fuji Station

*​Equipment included in tour: (life jacket, helmet, wetsuit) 
*Please bring your own Towel and Swimsuit
*Sandals or Aqua Shoes are recommended during the rafting tour
*Additional fee for BBQ Lunch, drinks and aqua shoes rental option
