We are on a Mission:
The people that work on Mt. Fuji during the climbing season are a tight community: the mountain hut owners, mountain hut staff, tour operators, safety center staff and Mt. Fuji guides all know each other in some capacity. Having a local professional guide, guide you to the summit of Mt. Fuji is your best opportunity to succeed. As professional guides, it is our privilege to share our experience and knowledge of climbing techniques (along with our professional advice) with those who have set their hearts on climbing this majestic mountain.
Climbing Mt. Fuji is more than just a hiking experience. It is a unique cultural experience with its own set of unspoken customs that can be easily missed if not careful. Maintaining wholesome relationships with Mt. Fuji locals is key to being accepted into this close-knit society.

Mt. Fuji Guidebook:
In the beginning, many climbers commented on the lack of English information available on climbing Mt. Fuji. Therefore, Richard our Founder and Head Mountain Guide created a unique Mt. Fuji climbing handbook for our Mt. Fuji climbing tours. The goal of the handbook was not only to provide practical information about climbing Mt. Fuji but also to introduce some of the cultural rituals associated with climbing historic Mt. Fuji.

Created just for our Mt. Fuji climbing tours, we ended up publishing the handbook (at the request of our customers) into a fully packed Mt. Fuji information guidebook in 2013 and it has thus unexpectedly become the best selling Mt. Fuji climbing guidebook on the market.
Since the original publication the guidebook is now on its 4th Edition. The latest edition of “Climbing Mt. Fuji A Complete Guidebook” can be found on Amazon.com.
