Mt. Fuji Off-Season Climbs
Climbing just before or just after the climbing season I.e. (June, September and October) is actually preferred by some hikers who like to avoid the large crowds. The weather varies, but for the most part the weather is not so different from the warm weather during the climbing season. There are a few mountain huts that remain open, but all other summit toilets and facilities are closed. Comparable to the Two Day Mt. Fuji Climb, this journey follows much of the same itinerary, except that climbers will summit Mt. Fuji during the day instead of just before dawn. Climbers will enjoy a much more relaxed and peaceful climb, as the mountain hut, and trail at times be completely uninhabited.
