Tsukiji Fish Market (Morning)

The Tsukiji Market is best known as the world's largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day. The sight of countless kinds of fresh fish, shellfish and other seafood and the busy atmosphere of scooters, trucks, sellers and buyers hurrying around, make Tsukiji a special treat for all on lookers.


Not only will you get a chance to observe the immense volumes and exotic kinds of sea-life in the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world and also one of the largest wholesale food markets of any kind, but you also get the opportunity to see the unique craftsmanship of the Tsukiji workers, a chance to see first hand the inner-social workings of a deeply rooted fish loving culture, from the large tuna fisherman to the skilled sushi chef, Tsukiji is a place of tradition.

Note: *The maximum number of participants is 10 persons per group. If the group number is more than 6, another guide will be added. *Wearing nice clothes, sandals and high heeled shoes are not recommended as the floors are often wet, slippery and smell of fish. Also smoking, touching the fish and taking flash photography are prohibited in the market. *Tuna Auction has 120 people limitation, based on first come first serve basis.
