I first came to Japan as an exchange student in 1995 and was amazed by the friendly people and unique culture. The following year I returned to Japan to work with the local governments in Hokkaido and Sendai before returning home in 2000. I returned to Japan two years later to earn a Masters Degree from the International University of Japan in Niigata before moving to Tokyo where I worked for a multinational semi-conductor company for several years before starting My Tokyo Guide.
I started My Tokyo Guide with the aim of sharing more of Japan’s amazing locality and exotic mystic with the outside world. With its exceptional service, magnificent cuisine, unique culture and untouched nature Japan is a hidden treasure just waiting to be uncovered. But you don't have to take my word for it, discover for yourself!

My hometown is in Fukuoka, Kyushu, I love traveling, I have traveled all over Japan and have been to 31 countries in the world. I enjoy taking the local trains to discover the local rural countryside.
My favorite places in Japan are anywhere with a great hot springs and food. However my most cherished  places in Japan are Matsuyama on the Shikoku Island and Kurashiki in Okayama. I hope you will get a change to experience Japan's unique spirit and to explore its hidden culture. In addtion to the unique culture, exploring the exquisite nature in Japan is also highly recommended. I look forward to arranging your own personal custom travel package in the near future.

Certified Travel Supervisor and National Guide, I worked for radio and TV networks and a motion picture studio in Los Angeles as a interpreter and coordinated special interest tours and events such as American broadcasting study tours and the Tokyo International Music Festival.
My message is simple. I really love to get to know people from around the world and talk with them. Not just one way guiding, but interactive communication by answering questions and showing places that the clients are interested in, rather than just the popular places. I enjoy comparing things of Japanese to the country of the clients. This is why I need to know in advance your country and any special interests you may have.
