Sample Itinerary - Japan Highlight Package - 6 Days

Day 1 - Arrive Tokyo:
Arrive Tokyo, stay two nights at a selected hotel. Late afternoon at your leisure. we will recommend sites to visit depending on your interests. Dinner reservations at an authentic Japanese restaurant will be booked upon request.

Day 2 - Tour of Tokyo:
Private tour of the Meiji Jinju Shrine, encounter the true Japanese spirit with a walk in the beautiful Happo-en Edo romance gardens and try Japanese tea. Enjoy a river cruise to visit Asakusa Sensoji Temple in down town tokyo, latest electronics district, and shopping for latest fashion, gourmet products, and crafts in an established shopping area. Evening at your leisure.

Day 3 - Transfer to Hakone:
Transfer to Hakone by bullet train and experience Japan’s most beautiful National Park. The volcanically active Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, centered around Lake Ashi, is famous for its onsen hot springs and its views of Mt. Fuji. Enjoy Hakone nature scenic places by a ropeway gondola, cable car and boat cruise on Lake Ashi - Stay a night at your choice of a traditional ryokan with Natural Onsen or Onsen hotel with hot spring.

Day 4 - Transfer to Kyoto:
Transfer to Kyoto by Bullet train. The shinkansen, or bullet train, is more than just a mode of transport – it’s a truly Japanese experience. Speeding through the countryside watching the Japanese landscape passing you by is a wonderful way to experience Japan much as the Japanese do. Once you arrive in Kyoto enjoy afternoon at leisure - Stay two nights at a traditional ryokan or luxury hotel.

Day 5 - Tour of Kyoto:
Kyoto is the ancient capital of Japan with world heritage temples and shrines, enjoy visiting famous sites such as the Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion and the Kyoto Imperial Palace as well as picturesque gardens and various traditional arts, crafts, culinary arts, and entertainment. Experience the traditional culture and serene temples of Japan in Kyoto.

Day 6 - Morning in Kyoto:
Enjoy a free morning in Kyoto before returning to Tokyo by bullet train in the afternoon. Optional authentic tea ceremony experience and tour available in the morning upon request.
