MYOJINKAN in Nagano: The Myojinkan, is a RELAIS and CHATEAUX listed Ryokan, and considered one of the best traditional ryokans in Japan. Myojinkan is located among mountains, at a height of 1,050 meter. Guests can appreciate the seasonal scenery of nature from bathrooms, guest rooms, and dining spots. Myojinkan combines the elements of a traditional Japanese inn with all the creature comforts of a luxury hotel. Enjoy the serenity of the murmuring brooks, tranquil bird song, conifers swaying gently in the breeze and snow covered vistas and feel the stress and tension melt away. There are 45 rooms in total (Japanese:27, Western:18) and handwoven yukata (casual kimono) is prepared for guests.

There are a variety of open-air baths attached to some of the rooms for the guests to enjoy. All the western style rooms are equipped with “sealy beds” to encourage a cozy sleep.
