Here are just a few comments our customers have sent us on their travel to Japan
Linda (Australia) (After delaying they're trip 1.5 yrs. after Big Tsunami they finally decided to visit Japan!)
Couple Trip - (Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Izu)
After all this time, to finally get here and see and do so many wonderful things is fabulous. Our guides were lovely, Atsko showed us through the fish markets and was very helpful in introducing us to Japan, the people and the culture. And the food!
And then Hiro-San, such a lovely man with a great sense of humour. Shame Mt Fuji decided to hide from us ( we finally saw it yesterday from the train). Once again he showed us more of the culture and this time so much of the history as well. We were a little daunted when he presented us with a black egg ;-/ but it was all good!
Midori showed us her lovely city and explained so much of the differences between life between Kyoto and Tokyo. And also some more history - what a rich culture and history you have.
The hotels were all lovely and in great positions - easy access and very comfortable.
And now, here I sit in the sun in the window of the Ryokan after a delicious breakfast, about to take my third and final trip to the baths, having already had a truly amazing banquet for dinner last night and a bedtime massage.
Thank you again for organizing it for us. Linda

Family Ski Trip - (Hokkaido Ski Package, Flights)
The Ski holiday was terrific, again thanks for recommending the best resort. It was our first ski holiday so it was good to have it at a resort that is "beginners - friendly" resort. It offers sufficient challenging slopes for beginners. Quality of the snow was great as it is first attempt for everyone in our family and was very encouraging that by the end of our lessons we were all skiing on our own.
Hotel was good, very efficient. Clean. Enough restaurants and cafes to choose from. Food selection is good too. Price range is wide so one can have a reasonable meal to an expensive one.
Thank you again. We hope to keep in touch as it will not be the last time for us. If you have any special promotions for Japan, please let us know.
I will send you a picture of the family.
Thanks again. Kind regards, Anna

Custom Family Travel - (Tokyo/Sumo/Tsukiji Fish Market, Kyoto/Hiroshima)
It was a perfect combination of planned and spontaneous. We got to see some weddings, deer, museums, an underground shopping mall concert, some gardens, and enjoyed lots of eating!
Food was challenging at first but after we got time-zone adjusted we had good fun choosing food (and eating it!).
I was really happy that you suggested the tours, they really added a lot. I know we could have found the places on our own but we would never have heard the terrific stories each guide had. Like pointing out the beer building and telling us why Carp really is a good name for a baseball team!
Sumo wrestling was very cool! Much more interesting than I expected! I could see that it isn’t just about weight but also about strength and strategy. (Just like other sports...) The hotels were great and convenient. It felt like “home” when we returned to it Friday after our long train ride back from Hiroshima.
Best of all, my daughters had a great time. They are grown now making this the last father-daughter trip so it was especially important to me that it all go well. I am so thankful to you for all your help: your encouragement, selections, ideas and for your help rebooking. And for checking up on us via email; it was really great to know we could reach out to you if we had a question or problem.
Again, thank you so much! If you ever come to San Francisco please let me know!
Best, -Mark

The accomadations were great. For Tokyo, being 5min from Shinagawa station meant that we could get around to the major parts of the city with the rail pass, and it had a great view of Tokyo Tower. It was a good way to get into things.
Overall, the accomdations were fantastic and were exactly what I was hoping for for my husband's first trip to Japan.
The tours were just as good. Lovely people, very knowledgeable, and wonderful guides (5 out of 5 to all of them, really). I have nothing but praise and superlatives for the the trip in general-- it was exactly what I was hoping for: a slightly off-the-beaten-path tour around the country that had some amazing sights and where on a few occasions, we were the only Westerners we'd see for most of the day. It was the perfect blend of guides and discovery on our own and we both felt it was just an incredible trip.
If we can find the excuse to come back to Japan sometime soon, we will definitely use MyTokyoGuide again.
Thanks again for all of your help, and I hope we get to collaborate again!
